The Governmental Utility Services Corporation of the City of Moody is an independent authority formed in 2007 by the governing body of the City of Moody tasked with managing the city's sewer system.

Rates are based upon wastewater quality standards established for the typical strengths of domestic waste. Wastewater that exceeds these standards may be subject to additional fees and/or surcharges. Users are billed monthly based on 100% of metered water use.

Residential Wastewater Users: Monthly Minimum Service Charge Plus Volumetric Charge*

Volumetric Charge per Discharge Unit (CCF or TGAL), Applies to Usage Above 2 CCF or 1.496 TGAL

1 CCF (100 Cubic Feet or 748 Gallons) - $7.44
1 TGAL (1,000 Gallons) - $9.94

Non-Residential Wastewater Users: Monthly Minimum Service Charge Plus Volumetric Charge*

Volumetric Charge per Discharge Unit (CCF or TGAL), Applies to Usage Above 2 CCF or 1.496 TGAL

*Monthly minimum service and volumetric charges are subject to 3% tax.
